- Olden: Gateway to glacier country. Take the Skylift to Mount Hoven, book a short lake boat, or follow a valley road on an e-bike. Scenery dominates at every turn.
- Skjolden: Quiet fjord terminus. Ferry or drive to the UNESCO-listed Urnes Stave Church, wander the shoreline, or join a glacier valley trip. The setting does most of the talking.
- Bergen: Historic Hanseatic quays and hill views. Ride the funicular, loop the harbour, or browse small galleries off Bryggen. The weather can be changeable; a light jacket helps.
