Ports of Call
Cruise from Southampton
- La Coruna: La Coruna is a Galician port with a long seafront promenade and Roman history. Visit the Tower of Hercules, explore the old town, or enjoy seafood near the harbour. It is a useful first call before the ship heads further south.
- Santa Cruz (Tenerife): Santa Cruz is Tenerife’s capital, with parks, shops and access to volcanic scenery. Visit García Sanabria Park, see the Auditorio de Tenerife, or travel inland for mountain views. It gives the cruise a varied stop in the Canary Islands.
- Santa Cruz de La Palma (La Palma): Santa Cruz de La Palma has old streets, wooden balconies and a relaxed harbour setting. Walk along Avenida Marítima, visit the historic centre, or head into the island’s greener interior. It is one of the gentler calls of the Canary Islands.
- Las Palmas (Gran Canaria): Las Palmas offers beach, old streets and cultural sights within reach. Visit Vegueta, see Casa de Colón, or walk along Las Canteras beach. It gives a balanced day of history, shopping and coast.
- Arrecife (Lanzarote): Arrecife is a modest port with volcanic scenery close by. Visit Timanfaya National Park, see César Manrique’s island sites, or walk around Charco de San Ginés. It is a strong stop for Lanzarote’s distinctive landscapes.
- Funchal (Madeira): Funchal has gardens, steep streets and sea views. Ride the cable car to Monte, visit the Botanical Garden, or explore the old town and market. It is a good final island call before the return to Southampton.
