- Vigo: Vigo is a Galician port with a working harbour, seafood and routes towards the Rías Baixas. Walk through the old quarter, visit the Castro fortress gardens, or head out along the coast. It makes a practical first port on the way south.
- Arrecife (Lanzarote): Arrecife is a low-key port with volcanic scenery nearby. Visit Timanfaya National Park, see César Manrique’s island sites, or walk around Charco de San Ginés. It is a good call for seeing Lanzarote’s dry, black-rock landscapes.
- Puerto del Rosario (Fuerteventura): Puerto del Rosario is Fuerteventura’s main port, with beaches and open island views close by. Walk the waterfront, browse local shops, or take a trip to sandy bays and dunes. It gives the cruise a relaxing stop in the Canary Islands.
- Santa Cruz (Tenerife): Santa Cruz is Tenerife’s capital and a useful base for island exploring. Visit García Sanabria Park, see the Auditorio de Tenerife, or travel inland for volcanic scenery. It offers a mix of city sights and mountain routes.
- Santa Cruz de La Palma (La Palma): Santa Cruz de La Palma is known for its old streets, balconies and quieter island feel. Walk along the seafront, explore the historic centre, or head inland for greener scenery. It adds a gentler Canary Islands call to the route.
- Funchal (Madeira): Funchal has gardens, sea views and steep hills above the harbour. Ride the cable car to Monte, visit the Botanical Garden, or walk through the old town and market. It is a warm Atlantic stop with plenty of shore options.
- Lisbon: Lisbon rises above the Tagus with viewpoints, tiled streets and old tram routes. Visit Belém Tower, explore Alfama, or enjoy cafés and shops near the centre. It gives the return leg a capital-city stop before sailing back to Southampton.
