- Hamburg: Hamburg is a large port city shaped by water, trade and red-brick warehouses. Explore Speicherstadt, visit the Elbphilharmonie, or take a harbour boat trip for views of the docks and skyline. It gives the New Year sailing a strong northern city stop.
- Bruges (Zeebrugge): Zeebrugge provides access to Bruges, with canals, cobbled streets and medieval squares. Visit the Markt, try Belgian chocolate, or take a short canal ride through the old centre. It is an easy, atmospheric final port before the journey back to Southampton.
