Ports of Call
Cruise from Southampton
- Vigo: Vigo is a Galician port set around a wide natural harbour. Explore the old town, visit seafood restaurants near the waterfront, or take a coastal trip to beaches and viewpoints. It gives the cruise a northern Spain stop with a strong maritime feel.
- Las Palmas (Gran Canaria): Las Palmas combines historic streets, beach life and a busy Atlantic port. Walk through Vegueta, visit Casa de Colón, or spend time at Las Canteras beach. It offers a useful mix of culture, coast and city life in one call.
- Santa Cruz (Tenerife): Santa Cruz is Tenerife’s capital, with gardens, shopping streets and access to volcanic scenery. Visit the Auditorio de Tenerife, explore García Sanabria Park, or take a longer tour towards Mount Teide. It works well as both a city stop and a gateway to the island’s interior.
- Santa Cruz de La Palma (La Palma): Santa Cruz de La Palma has old balconies, cobbled streets and a quieter island feel. Walk the seafront, visit churches and small museums, or take a tour into La Palma’s volcanic and forested landscapes. It is a gentler Canary Islands call with plenty of character.
- Funchal (Madeira): Funchal sits between the Atlantic and Madeira’s steep green hills. Explore the old town, visit the market, ride the cable car to Monte, or take a tour to the island viewpoints. It is one of the route’s strongest scenic stops.
- La Coruna: La Coruna is a Galician coastal city with seafront walks, old streets and maritime landmarks. Visit the Tower of Hercules, explore the old town, or enjoy seafood near the harbour. It gives the return leg a final northern Spain call before Southampton.
