Ports of Call
Cruise from Southampton
- Hamburg: Discover Hamburg’s historic Speicherstadt warehouse district, recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the neighbouring HafenCity waterfront. The Elbphilharmonie concert hall overlooks the harbour, while Miniatur Wunderland, St Michael’s Church and the city’s maritime museums provide further places to explore.
- Bruges (Zeebrugge): Travel from the port of Zeebrugge into Bruges, where medieval streets and picturesque canals surround the historic Market Square. Visit the Belfry, admire the Basilica of the Holy Blood or explore the quieter waterways and traditional shops around the old town.
- Rotterdam: Explore Rotterdam’s contemporary architecture, including the distinctive Cube Houses, Markthal and Erasmus Bridge. The city’s waterfront reflects its importance as one of Europe’s major ports, while historic Delfshaven offers a contrast to the modern centre.
- Le Havre (Paris): Discover Le Havre’s UNESCO-listed city centre, rebuilt after the Second World War under architect Auguste Perret. St Joseph’s Church is a prominent landmark, while the Musée d’art moderne André Malraux is known for its Impressionist collection. Longer organised excursions may visit Paris or destinations elsewhere in Normandy.
