- Lisbon: Hills, trams and tiled facades above the Tagus. Visit Belém for its pasteis and riverfront monuments, or take the lift to Bairro Alto. Sunlight and viewpoints are the souvenirs.
- Leixoes (tours to Porto): Gateway to port wine lodges and the Douro’s bridges. Wander the Ribeira or take a tasting in Vila Nova de Gaia. Granite streets meet a river that never quits.
- Cherbourg: A naval harbour with a grand covered market. Visit La Cité de la Mer or stroll the quays for seafood. It’s a neat final pause before sailing home.
