Cruise from Southampton
- Bilbao (Getxo): Cruise berth at Getxo with metro links into the city. See the Guggenheim’s curves, cross the river by footbridges, or wander the Casco Viejo. Modern art and pintxos pair well.
- La Coruna: Atlantic city with a long seafront and lighthouse history. Walk to the Tower of Hercules, explore the old quarter, or follow the promenade for extensive views. Sea air and granite streets define it.
- Vigo: Working port with terraces climbing the hill. Visit the old town and oysters on Rua da Pescaderia, ferry to the Cíes Islands, or look out from Castro fortress. Galician flavours come through clearly.
- Cherbourg: Naval harbour and maritime museum stop. Step into La Cité de la Mer, browse local markets, or take a coastal walk towards the forts. It’s a neat finale before the Channel crossing.
