Ports of Call
Cruise from Southampton
- Vigo: Vigo is a Galician port with seafood, old streets and broad views over the ria. Visit Castro Fortress, explore the old town, or take an excursion to Santiago de Compostela. It gives the cruise a northern Spanish start.
- Gibraltar: Gibraltar is compact, distinctive and easy to explore. Visit the Rock, see St Michael’s Cave, or walk Main Street for shops and cafés. It adds a British-linked stop with strong views across the Strait.
- Malaga: Malaga offers beaches, museums and a historic centre close to the port. Visit the Alcazaba, the Picasso Museum, or the cathedral. It is a strong Andalusian call with plenty within easy reach.
- Cádiz (Overnight onboard): Cádiz is an old Atlantic city with sea walls, plazas and narrow lanes. Visit the cathedral, walk through La Viña, or use the extra time for an evening ashore. The overnight makes the call more relaxed and gives visitors time to see the city after dark.
- Matosinhos (for Porto): Matosinhos gives access to Porto, known for its riverfront, bridges and port wine houses. Explore the Ribeira, visit São Bento station, or cross the Dom Luís I Bridge. It rounds off the itinerary with a strong Portuguese city stop.
