Ports of Call
Cruise from Newcastle
- Skjolden: At the far end of Norway’s longest fjord, quiet and spectacular. Walk to the waterfalls, visit Urnes Stave Church on an excursion, or enjoy the stillness. Scenery does the heavy lifting here.
- Olden: Small village backed by glacier country. Take the Loen Skylift or travel to Briksdal Glacier for big views. Even a fjordside amble feels special.
- Åndalsnes: Peaks, valleys and a railway into the mountains. Ride the Rauma Railway or head toward Trollstigen’s viewpoints when roads are open—a fine base for alpine scenery.
- Ålesund: Art Nouveau streets and island panoramas. Climb to Aksla viewpoint, visit the Jugendstilsenteret, and wander the harbourfront. Compact, tidy and photogenic.
